So, randomly this weekend I decided that I wanted to teach myself how to sew.  Unfortunately, I am was not able to teach myself how to use the decrepit White sewing machine in the basement that is probably twice my current age.  So I had to ask my Grandmother, whose sewing machine it is.  Trouble is, she's lost too much of her memory to know how to work it anymore, which meant I had to ask my Mom and I can tell you that, that didn't work out so well.  Hence, Grrrrrr! I have now gone on a quest for a cheap sewing machine that is also easy to use.  I have every expectation that this will also end in tragedy, but I do have a back up plan.  Luck

 So, I have to start this entry by saying "thank you!" once again to all of you who took the time to read, comment and critique Welcome to the Mare.  :hug:  I've never had a story go from barely legible dream stuff to something that actually makes sense to anyone not inside my head so fast in my entire life!  Now, believe it or not, I actually appreciate the critique from people who aren't impressed with this genre/style/etc just as much because, let's face it, I'm writing for an audience that enjoys dark fantasy and if you don't, then your comments just help me open the story to even more people then would have been interested before.  That
